What meeting room privileges come with a membership?
Every CoKno membership includes 4 hours of complimentary meeting room time each month. Additionally, for quick or impromptu meetings, you can use the iPad located outside the meeting room to reserve it for 30-minute sessions. These short reservations do not count towards your monthly free meeting room time. For longer or planned meetings, you can reserve the meeting room in advance through the CoKno member application, ensuring you have the space when you need it.
Where can I take phone or video calls?
For phone and video calls, we recommend using one of our two phone booths, the meeting room, or our outdoor seating area. These spaces are designed to ensure privacy and minimize distractions to others. While it's natural to answer calls at your desk, we kindly ask that you move to one of these designated quiet areas if the call may be lengthy or disruptive. This helps maintain a focused environment for all members.
What is the noise environment like?
CoKno is typically quiet throughout the day, as members are focused on their work. To maintain a serene atmosphere, we play soft music and have noise machines strategically placed around the space to help muffle conversations. While we strive to keep the space as quiet as possible, we recommend that all members use noise-cancelling headphones, as we cannot guarantee complete silence at all times. This approach helps ensure a productive environment for everyone.
What does the part-time membership include?
The part-time membership at CoKno is a popular option, providing flexibility for those who require occasional access to our workspace. With this membership, you receive 8 punch passes each month, allowing you to access the space up to 8 times within that month. Please note that these passes are use-it-or-lose-it and do not roll over to the next month, so be sure to make the most of them within the allocated time.
How do I access the space?
After you schedule a start date for your trial or membership at CoKno, a staff member will send you a text message containing your personal door code. Upon arriving at CoKno, simply enter this door code as instructed in the text message to gain access to the space. This process ensures secure and convenient entry for all our members.
Are there printing and scanning facilities available?
Yes, CoKno is equipped with both a printer and a scanner for member use. You can conveniently scan documents directly to your email address. Please note that printing is limited to 25 pages per day to ensure fair access for all members. If you need help connecting to the printer or scanner, feel free to ask a staff member for assistance.
Does CoKno offer a trial period for new members?

Are utilities included in the cost of membership?
Yes, all utilities are included in your monthly membership at CoKno. This covers water, air conditioning, heat, electricity, and internet access. There are no additional charges for utilities, ensuring a straightforward and inclusive membership experience.
Are memberships month-to-month?
You can sign up for a
Dedicated Desk for any number of months, with a minimum commitment of one month. For longer commitments, we offer discounts for periods of 6, 12, and 24 months to reward your loyalty. Hot Desks are available strictly on a month-by-month basis, also with a minimum commitment of one month. This flexibility is perfect for those who need a workspace without a long-term commitment.
Can I have mail and packages delivered?
Members with a
Dedicated Desk or
Mailing Address membership are permitted to have mail and packages delivered to CoKno. However, we do not offer mail and package handling for part-time members, trial members, or day pass users. We recommend checking in with CoKno staff at least twice a week to see if you have received any mail or packages. Please note, for deliveries outside of staffed hours, you must be present to receive them, as our out-of-hours staff cannot collect or sign for packages. If you decide to leave CoKno, please ensure that you pick up all your mail and packages before departing and set up a forwarding address, as CoKno does not provide mail forwarding services.
When can I access the space?
CoKno is staffed on local weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Members with Dedicated Desk or Full-Time memberships enjoy 24/7 access to their respective locations. Please be aware that there is no staff on-site and amenities may be reduced on weekends, some national holidays, and outside of weekday business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Can I bring my pets?
CoKno is dog-friendly! Members wishing to bring their dogs must first submit their vaccination records via email to
pets@cokno.org before arriving. All dogs must be house-trained. If your dog becomes disruptive, noisy, or destructive, CoKno staff reserve the right to request its removal from the premises. For pets other than dogs, members must obtain prior permission from CoKno. Approval is granted at our discretion, ensuring a comfortable environment for all members.
Can I bring a guest?
Members are welcome to bring guests to CoKno under specific conditions based on their membership type. If you hold a Hot Desk or Dedicated Desk membership, you must reserve a meeting room to host guests at any of our locations. This can be done through the CoKno member website or the CoKno app. The number of guests allowed corresponds to the capacity of the reserved meeting room, and guests may only access the premises during the booked period. As a member, you are responsible for the behavior of your guests and must be present in the building throughout their visit. Please note, guests are not permitted on the premises without the member present to meet them.
What is the refrigerator policy?
At CoKno, we maintain our refrigerators at a temperature below 40°F (5°C) to meet our food safety standards. To ensure our fridge remains clean, organized, and spacious, we clear out all items every Friday afternoon. Please note, any items left in the refrigerator after this time will be removed and disposed of, containers included. To keep your items over the weekend, make sure to leave a note with them.
